Seven years ago this month, Santos Walding LLP officially opened its doors under our current name.

As we celebrate this major milestone, we cannot help but look back at where it all began—and marvel at how far we have come.

Our Modest Beginnings: The Oakland YMCA

Every great story has a humble start. For us, that was the historic YMCA building on 21st and Telegraph in Oakland.

It was an energetic, vibrant, and truly memorable place to work. However, it did come with its unique set of challenges. As an estate planning law firm, privacy is absolutely paramount for our clients. Trying to discuss deeply personal family and financial matters in a bustling, open floorplan quickly taught us that we needed a space of our own to truly serve you best.

Putting Down Roots at 1300 Clay Street

That realization led us to our current headquarters at 1300 Clay Street in beautiful downtown Oakland.

Moving into this space allowed us to provide the confidential, comfortable, and professional environment our clients deserve. It became the launchpad for our growth, anchoring us firmly in the heart of the East Bay community that we love so much.

Branching Out Across the Country

Thanks to the trust of our clients and the dedication of our team, our single Oakland office soon began to multiply. Today, Santos Walding LLP is proud to be a bi-coastal law firm with three thriving locations:

  • Palm Springs: Bringing peace of mind to clients amidst the beautiful Southern California desert.
  • Hudson Valley: Serving communities surrounded by the historic, rustic charm of Upstate New York.
