Jaime Santos

Jaime’s 15-plus years of legal skills and record of success have earned her well-deserved recognition as a highly-skilled attorney. Prior to forming Santos Walding with her long-time friend and law school colleague, Jaime honed her skills at top-tier law firms (Heller Ehrman and Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe). Jaime’s past experience as transactional attorney and litigator give her a unique perspective from which to understand the problems clients face and develop innovative strategies to resolve them. Jaime thrives when she is able to counsel for-profit and non-profit businesses of all sizes on their specific challenges whether related to start-up, mergers & acquisitions, employment, regulatory, soft IP, or general business counsel. No matter who they are, Jaime's clients get the benefit of her passionate advocacy, her sense of humor, and her commitment to kindness, integrity and service.

Matt Walding

Matt has over 15 years of legal experience in fields including tax, trusts and estates, business, and non-profit law. Prior to forming Santos Walding LLP, Matt worked in the tax department of two top-tier NYC law firms (Paul Hastings LLP and Proskauer Rose LLP) and as Senior Director of Tax at Tishman Speyer Properties. Today, Matt enjoys putting this prior experience to use in helping individuals of all income levels achieve their trust and estate planning goals; working with small and mid-sized businesses and their owners to obtain optimal tax and business outcomes in venture formations, acquisition transactions, and exits; and advising non-profit organizations on operations, investments, and transactions.
